Kyrö Distillery Chooses Woamy Biofoam to Protect Exclusive Game of Thrones Whisky Tasting Set

Woamy, a Finnish developer of circular biofoam packaging, has been selected to protect an exclusive promotional whisky tasting set created by award-winning Kyrö Distillery Company for its new Game of Thrones collaboration.

The limited-edition tasting set, designed for promotional use and not available for public sale, showcases Kyrö's new whisky releases inspired by the world of Game of Thrones. Woamy's biofoam was chosen to protect the fragile glassware and whisky sample bottles while providing a premium unboxing experience aligned with Kyrö's sustainability ambitions.

Woamy’s material is unique and gives a premium finishing to our sample set. Sustainability is a key priority for Kyrö Distillery, which continuously works to reduce the environmental impact of its operations through clear sustainability targets and ongoing improvements across its value chain.

In its announcement of the collaboration with Game of Thrones, Kyrö described the collection as drawing inspiration from the theme of "Fire and Blood," where storytelling and craftsmanship collide in every drop. Inspired by the world of Westeros, the limited-edition collection combines Kyrö's distinctive rye whisky-making philosophy with the symbolism, character, and atmosphere of Game of Thrones. The promotional tasting set protected by Woamy was created to showcase these exclusive releases to selected partners and media representatives.
