Vesa Yliherne joins Woamy as Senior Operations Partner

We are excited to announce that Vesa Yliherne has joined Woamy's operational management team as our new Senior Operations Partner since October 2025.

Vesa brings extensive experience from the packaging industry, strengthening our journey as we move toward industrial scale. In his role, he supports the management team in key areas including our industrial pilot investment plan, ongoing funding round, and the development of operations needed to enable commercial scale-up.

His expertise comes at an important time for Woamy, as we continue advancing our mission to make easily recyclable, bio-based foam a viable alternative for global packaging needs. Having a seasoned industry expert like Vesa onboard further reinforces our ability to bridge innovation with scalable, real-world impact.
