Woamy has been featured by EIT Manufacturing as part of their International Women’s Day feature highlighting women who are reshaping the future of manufacturing.
The initiative brings together ten women across Europe working at the forefront of innovation — from cleantech and advanced materials to robotics and industrial technologies. Among them is Woamy’s CEO and co-founder, Susanna Partanen, recognized for her work in developing sustainable alternatives to traditional plastic foams.
The feature challenges traditional assumptions about who builds and leads in manufacturing and deep tech, while highlighting the growing role of women in shaping the industry.
At Woamy, this is something we care deeply about. As a female-led team, we believe that diverse perspectives lead to better solutions — especially when tackling complex challenges like sustainability and material innovation. Alongside developing bio-based alternatives to plastic foams, we also want to contribute to a more inclusive and representative future for deep tech.
We’re proud to be part of this group and grateful to EIT Manufacturing for the recognition.
